La literatura de ficci\u00f3n y la poes\u00eda tambi\u00e9n se han ocupado de \u00e9l. En 2003 la editorial Anagrama y el escritor Pierre\u00a0Michon acordaron la publicaci\u00f3n en un solo volumen de los relatos inspirados en pintores, Watteau, Piero della Francesca, Van Gogh, Claudio de Lorena y Don Francisco de Goya, \u00e9ste bajo el t\u00edtulo Dios no acaba.<\/em><\/p>\n Son relatos de un amante de la pintura y los pintores, un poeta enamorado del arte que recrea , imagina y vuela a trav\u00e9s del personaje real y tambi\u00e9n ficticio. Es un libro deslumbrante, rico, emocionante sobre todo. Todos los superlativos se han aplicado ya a la prosa de Michon, considerado hoy como el m\u00e1s grande escritor franc\u00e9s.
